THIRTY-TWO ‘fabulous’ new affordable homes are coming soon to a Fylde near you!
And Muir are making all of them available to rent.
Work is set to start on the one, two and three-bed properties at Cropper Road in the forthcoming months, with the first expected to complete in summer 2020.
They will be situated just ten minutes from Blackpool’s famous Pleasure Beach, and a mere seven miles from the airport, giving residents a great location from where to enjoy an affordable lifestyle.
The 32 homes consist of 12 one-bed flats and four two-bed flats, with seven two-bedroomed houses and nine 3-bed homes.
Sophie Whittingham, Muir’s Trainee Development Officer, says the new properties will provide lovely new homes for people and families seeking an affordable fresh start.
“The Cropper Road development is in a really nice area and we think they will make great new homes for people,” she said.
“It will be fabulous to see these homes start to take shape when work begins, and wonderful to see new residents starting new lives when they become available next year for affordable rent.”
The work at Cropper Road follows hot on the heels of another affordable Muir development in the area after the Association recently completed a five-home shared ownership development at nearby Wrea Green.
All five homes were snapped up by happy new homeowners even before they had been completed, underlining the need for new and affordable quality housing in the area; with the Cropper Road development likely to be just as popular.
Muir is also currently developing 44 affordable homes in Blackpool, at Watson Road, as the Association further underlines its commitment to providing quality new homes in the area.
