NEW HOMEOWNER ‘PINCHING HERSELF’ AFTER FINDING SHARED OWNERSHIP HAPPINESS WITH MUIR
MARIAN Armer says becoming a happy homeowner through Muir’s shared ownership scheme has left her pinching herself to make sure it’s real.
Mrs Armer recently purchased a 50% share in a newly built Muir home at Wrea Green in Fylde after choosing to leave her previous apartment due to health reasons.
Completed in January 2019, her new two-bedroom property proved to be more accessible for her needs.
She’s hoping to buy more shares in the property in future years, and explained that shared ownership gave her the opportunity she needed to find a more suitable home.
“I don’t think I’d have been able to buy a new home if it wasn’t for shared ownership,” Marian said.
“I found the service from Muir to be second to none and I have to pinch myself to believe I’ve already settled in.
“I’m delighted with my new home in the village.”
The appeal of shared home ownership has grown steadily in recent years as it continues to bridge the gap between buying your own home outright amid rising house prices, or renting the roof over your head.
