IT’S GREAT TO WORK WITH COMMUNITY GROUPS TO EXTEND THE RANGE OF SERVICES MUIR OFFERS
MUIR works with many community groups to help provide housing-related services to people.
So, it’s great that we can share some of the ways we are able to make a difference by doing so.
One such group is West Lancs Ark CIC who have been teaming up with Muir to help find people homes as they report a rise in the number of people accessing their services.
Muir Tenancy Services Officer, Emma Ashton has worked with them to find accommodation for homeless people in 2018, most recently re-housing an ex-serviceman who needed somewhere to live.
“It’s great to work with community groups to extend the range of services we can offer and the way we can deliver them,” Emma said.
“We’re delighted to build positive relationships with communities, and groups such as West Lancs Ark CIC help provide a vital link which can lead to very positive outcomes for the people who contact them."
