TANGOING HER WAY TO MUIR HAS HELPED ALMA KEEP THE SPRING IN HER STEP
SINCE tangoing her way to Tweedsmuir, Alma Mullen, says she’s continued to enjoy the good life at Muir’s sheltered housing scheme in Chester.
The dancer won many competitions on the world-renowned floor of the Tower Ballroom while living in Blackpool for many happy years with her husband.
She talked about her time as a Muir resident since moving back to Chester surrounded by trophies and pictures of her dancefloor delights, but insists she’s strictly still dancing in the famous ballroom whenever she can.
“I’m very happy here,” said 86-year-old Alma, who moved to Tweedsmuir in 2018.
“There’s always plenty to do.
“I feel very lucky I got in here.”
