RESIDENTS will benefit from a revitalised maintenance service as Muir launches new ways of working designed to take its customer experience to the next level.
Muir has officially unveiled its new-look Property Services Team while extensive work to improve its level of service continues, following more than a year of dedicated planning.
The housing association wants to transcend existing service levels in order to provide its residents with more efficient and effective output.
Nik Evans, Muir’s Assistant Director of Property Services (right), is thrilled that residents will receive the first-class experience they deserve when dealing with repairs and planned maintenance, such as kitchen and bathroom upgrades, as the new service unfolds.
“Muir residents will get even greater value for money as we enhance delivery of our planned maintenance and repairs services right across the board,” Nik said.
“We have worked hard to shape the future of the Property Services Team, bringing together a new range of experience and skills to help benefit our residents.
“The format of the new team means it is more closely knit, following streamlined processes and working in new, and more effective ways.
“Muir will provide a totally refreshed maintenance service and the new team is proud to be an important part of its delivery.”
The long-term enhancements are seen as a vital part of maintaining the good relationship Muir has with its residents, as well as building upon its existing reputation, both for the tenants of today, and tomorrow.
Aside from remodelling Muir’s Property Services Team, the Association has been busy procuring new maintenance contracts, and installing and developing a new Asset Management System to manage its housing stock more effectively.
The way Muir manages performance on maintenance matters has also been revamped, while it has also been strengthening the partnership it enjoys with its own in-house contractor, Muir Property Solutions (MPS).
“We really believe we are putting ourselves in a fantastic position to achieve greater things for Muir residents,” said Nik.
“Muir is always considering ways to further enhance the delivery of our maintenance services so tenants can always trust us as their landlord.”
