Stunning Muir development proves a sell out
MUIR is celebrating the final completion of a shared ownership property sale which represents the last on a stunning new development.
Keys to all the shared ownership deals on the development at Cheshire Limes in Lostock Gralam, Northwich, have now been handed to their buyers after the final agreement completed earlier this month.
Muir Group Housing Association had purchased a total of 37 two and three bedroom houses from Barratt Homes, 19 of which were made available for shared ownership with a further 18 provided to rent.
The Cheshire properties were delivered to Muir over a three-year phase from 2013 to 2016.
Gill D’Arcy, a Sales Officer at Muir said: “We were delighted to complete the sale of the last shared ownership property on the development.
“The majority of shared ownership properties were reserved from plan.
“There was also a strong need for rented houses in this area which resulted in a fast allocation.
“Barratt Homes provided excellent quality houses which were sold at realistic prices and Cheshire Limes has been an extremely successful development which we are proud to have been a part of.”
The development is the latest success story regarding Muir’s shared ownership opportunities.
Interest in shared ownership has grown steadily in recent years with shared ownership offering a way onto the property ladder for a host of potential buyers.
The last available shared ownership properties on another sought after Muir development are also sparking interest as the Association’s deals continue to delight.
The final two available three-bedroom properties at Saxon Heath in Tarvin, Cheshire, represent a chance for potential buyers to own their own home in the picturesque village.
